DESCRIPTION OF THE COLOR CODE SYSTEM
- ORANGE
Liquid
Thin to viscous substances, e.g., paints, liquid plastic, epoxy-coatings or primers; often mineral or resin-based. Ideally mixed with paddles that create a mixing effect from top to bottom.
- GREEN
Material: Creamy
From honey-like to curd-like textures; with cement and sand constituents, e.g., adhesives, leveling compounds, stable putties, flowing mortars ...
- MAGENTA
Material: Heavy
Heavy and/or moderately damp materials, with a high aggregate content, mineral or resin-bound; e.g., concrete, mortar, plaster ...; Paddles with a mixing action from bottom to top are used for these heavy materials. This facilitates immersion in the compact material, the stirrer literally screws itself into the material.
