Mix Timer

Mixing RPM

Set the optimal RPM easily on your XQ, depending of the viscosity of your material. Rule of Thumb: The thicker the material, the lower RPM you will choose. For more liquid material, you will log in a higher RPM.

PADDLES ARE THE SECRET WEAPON OF THE PERFECT MIX

The most underrated aspect of mixing is the paddle.

Collomix helps you choose the right mixing direction (up, down, or sideways) to choose the right paddle for every job.

WK - Thick material

Heavy and moderately moist materials, with a high aggregate content of sand, mineral or resin-bound; e.g. concrete,mortar, concrete with aggregate, grout...; For these heavy materials, paddles mix from bottom to top. It makes it easier to immerse the paddle into compact material, as the paddle literally screws itself into the material.

KR - Creamy material

Honey-like flowing to soft, curd-like consistency; with cement and sand components, e.g. tile adhesive, adhesive mortar, self-levelling compounds, underlayment, overlayment, smoothing compounds, flowing mortar, thin-bed mortar.

LX - Liquid material

Thin to thick liquid substances, e.g. paints, varnishes, liquid plastics, epoxy resin coatings, sealants or primers; often mineral or resin-based. Ideally mixed with stirring rods that create a mixing effect from top to bottom to avoid splashing and air intakes.
